Privacy Policy
Toon Royale (the "game") is made and run by Malega Ventures LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you play on the website (toonroyale.com), in the iPhone app or in the Android app, why, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it. Questions: [email protected].
The short version
- You can play without telling us your name, email, phone number or location.
- The game makes an anonymous player account so your progress, trophies and crew are saved.
- Signing in with Apple, Google, Facebook or email is optional; it only lets you keep the same account on another device.
- We do not show ads, sell your data, or track you across other apps or websites.
- Payments are handled by Stripe, Apple or Google. We never see or store your card details.
- You can delete your account any time: in the game (Settings > Delete Account) or by email.

We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, health data or advertising identifiers, and we do not use advertising cookies. The website and the apps also keep a copy of your save on your device so the game starts fast and works offline.
2. Purchases
On the website, payments are processed by Stripe; in the iPhone app by Apple; in the Android app by Google. They handle your payment details under their own privacy policies. We only receive confirmation of the purchase (item, date, transaction ID) so we can add it to your account. We never receive or store your card number.
3. How we use data
Only to run the game: saving progress, online matches and crews, leaderboards, fair matchmaking, checking match results, preventing cheating and abuse, moderating chat, answering support emails, delivering purchases and fixing problems. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell or "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, we rely on: providing the game you asked for (contract), our legitimate interests in keeping the game secure and fair, and legal obligations (for example purchase records).
4. Who else processes data
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and the game servers (accounts, saves, matches, chat).
- Stripe, Apple and Google process payments (and Apple and Google provide optional sign-in).
- Meta Platforms, Inc. provides optional Facebook sign-in.
- An email delivery provider sends one-time sign-in codes if you choose email sign-in.
They may only use the data to provide their service to us. Other players see your display name, avatar, trophies, crew and the messages you send to your crew.
5. Crew chat
Crew messages are visible to the members of your crew. Please don't share personal information in chat. A filter blocks offensive words, links and personal details automatically. You can report a message or block a player; reported messages are reviewed and may be removed, and players who break the rules may be muted or banned.
6. How long we keep data
- Account, progress, crew data: while your account exists. We may delete accounts that have not been used for a long time.
- Crew chat: the most recent messages of each crew (about the last 200); older messages are deleted automatically. Reported messages may be kept longer for safety.
- Match records: as long as needed to check results and handle cheating reports.
- Technical logs: a short time (days to a few weeks).
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted (without your name).
7. Deleting your account and your other rights
- In the game: Settings > Delete Account. This deletes your account, cloud save, progress and crew membership right away; your old chat messages show "Deleted player".
- By email: write to [email protected] with your Player ID (shown in Settings) and we will delete your account.
- You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to stop a use you object to. Depending on where you live (for example the EU or UK, or California) you may have more rights, including complaining to your data-protection authority.
- You can change your display name at any time in Settings.
8. Data deletion instructions
You can delete your data at any time, whichever way you signed in (Apple, Google, Facebook, email, or not at all):
- Everything, in the game: open Settings > Delete Account and confirm. This deletes your account, cloud save, progress, crew membership and all its logins (Apple, Google, Facebook and email) right away.
- Everything, by email: write to [email protected] with your Player ID (shown in Settings) and we will delete your account.
- Only a login: to stop using one way of signing in, delete the account as above or email us which login to remove.
- Facebook: you can also remove Toon Royale in Facebook (Settings > Apps and websites > Toon Royale > Remove) and ask for your data to be deleted. Facebook tells us automatically; we unlink your Facebook login and delete the Facebook user number we kept for it, and Facebook shows you a confirmation code you can check at toonroyale.com/data-deletion. Your game account itself is kept (it is not Facebook data) until you delete it as above.
- Apple: you can also stop using Sign in with Apple for Toon Royale in your Apple Account settings (Sign in with Apple > Toon Royale).
- Google: you can also remove Toon Royale's access at myaccount.google.com > Security > Your connections to third-party apps & services.
- Email: we never store your email address (only a scrambled version and a short hint); deleting the account deletes them.
Purchase records the law requires us to keep are kept without your name (see "How long we keep data").
9. Children
Toon Royale is a cartoon game for a general audience, but it is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information (for example in crew chat or by signing in with email), contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
All traffic between the game and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS / WSS). Accounts are protected by a secret key on your device. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we keep and who can access it.
11. International players
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in other countries. Where the law requires it, transfers use appropriate safeguards.
12. Changes
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change is important, we will also tell you in the game.
